In the context of the Healthy Unhas Episode, the Chancellor of Hasanuddin University launched the Medical Check Up (MCU) program for all Hasanuddin University lecturers and educational staff in November 2022. This MCU program is one of the programs under the control of the Sub-Directorate of the Unhas Occupational Health and Safety Guarantee System. Unhas Directorate Human Resources.
This breakthrough is a committed effort from the Unhas leadership to improve the quality of health for lecturers and education staff.
“This MCU is proof of the leadership’s commitment to making our campus a healthy campus for lecturers and staff, so that the focus is not only on managing a healthy campus but also on the health quality of its human resources. “Of course, Unhas will continue to be determined to make more positive contributions to our institution, especially to the academic community,” explained Prof. Dr. Farida Patittingi, S.H., M.Hum who is also the Deputy Chancellor for Human Resources, Alumni and Information Systems/Vice Chancellor III.
Since its launch until now, there have been 1,575 lecturers and education staff who have carried out MCU.
Vice Chancellor III as the person in charge of MCU activities also expressed his pride in the MCU program which has been running well, he hopes to optimize MCU’s achievements by the end of the year.
Unhas Human Resources Director, Dr.dr.Idar Mappangara, Sp.PD., Sp.JP.(K) also explained that the K3 Program like MCU is a solution step in preventing health risks for lecturers and staff.
Apart from that, Prof. Dr. Lalu Muhammad Saleh, SKM., M.Kes as Head of the K3 Guarantee System Sub-Directorate also revealed that the implementation of MCU will continue to be optimized as a form of increasing the health level and quality of life of Unhas human resources.
Several MCU beneficiaries also expressed their happiness with the MCU program and welcomed the MCU program positively. (GM Harding)
