Deputy Chancellor III led a group of K3 Ambassadors from Hasanuddin University (Unhas) to conduct a Comparative Study to the UPT for Occupational Health, Safety and Environment (K3L) of the University of Indonesia (UI) one day at Campus 2 Depok (26/1).
The group was led by the Deputy Chancellor for Human Resources, Alumni, Information Systems Prof Farida Pattitingi and accompanied by Unhas retainers such as the Director of Human Resources, Head of the K3 Guarantee System Sub-directorate, Head of the Education and Training Sub-directorate, Head of Household Affairs and K3 Ambassadors from all faculties.
The line of K3 Ambassadors was received by the UI Secretary at the Central Administration building, represented by the Head of the UI K3L Technical Implementation Unit, Dr. Sjahrul Meizar Nasri.
Prof. Farida in her speech expressed her gratitude to UI for accepting the Unhas K3 Ambassadors, and she advised the Unhas K3 Ambassadors to be able to study at the UI K3L UPT by actively asking questions and discussing during the activity. Apart from that, he invited K3 UI managers to come to Unhas to transfer their knowledge and take a culinary tour in Makassar.
Apart from that, the Director of HR, Unhas Dr. Idar Mappangara was also very happy to be accepted at UI and said that K3 Unhas, as a baby that is still growing and still learning, will try to make good breakthroughs for implementing K3. The concept of prevention is a priority. Currently, he said that management at Unhas is under the HR Directorate under the control of the Head of the K3 Guarantee System Sub-directorate, Dr Lalu Muhammad Saleh.
This Unhas benchmarking activity was filled with an opening ceremony, handing over souvenirs, providing occupational safety management material, occupational health and industrial hygiene management material, environmental management material, fire prevention and emergency management, discussions, K3 facility visits, activity demonstrations.
The response from the University of Indonesia was very good and supported the Unhas K3 Ambassadors in implementing K3 and collaboration between UI and UNHAS could run well in implementing K3 at their respective universities.
If we look inside the UPT K3L internally, it turns out that it has 4 coordinators, namely Work Safety Management, Industrial Health and Hygiene Management, Fire Prevention and Emergency Management and Environmental Management.
